Come with us to the southern slopes of the B\u00f6rzs\u00f6ny Mountains, and let\u2019s conquer together the peak of Hegyes-tet\u0151, which towers like a solitary bastion<\/strong> The Julianus Lookout! <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Did you know that the lookout tower was entered into the \u2018Lookout Tower of the Year\u2019 competition in 2025 and won the prestigious third prize? This is no coincidence, as the lookout offers a magnificent panorama of the Pilis and Visegr\u00e1d mountain ranges opposite, whilst in fine weather you can also see the lofty B\u00f6rzs\u00f6ny and the mountain peaks of the Upper Lands rising in the distance. The route of the hike also follows part of the National Blue Trail, so if you have your stamp book, you can add another stamp to your collection!<\/p>\n Join us, take a break from the daily grind, and create memories that will bring a smile to your face for years to come!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2728A Dockyard voucher worth 15,000 Ft will be raffled off on the day amongst the tour participants, courtesy of Columbia Sportswear Hungary!<\/p>\n Distance:<\/strong> 8 km, with an elevation gain of 410 m.<\/p>\n The walk starts in Nagymaros and ends in Zebeg\u00e9ny, from where we\u2019ll take the train back to our starting point.<\/p>\n \ud83d\ude0e\u2600\ufe0fGiven the expected heat, the route will follow the shady forest as much as possible, where the weather is much more pleasant! What\u2019s more, you can kick off the day with an iced coffee at O\u2019Mami and Rozmaring Bistro, AND at the end of the walk, on the banks of the Danube in Zebeg\u00e9ny, you can continue the day on the beach by sunbathing, relaxing and cooling off! So don\u2019t forget to bring your swimwear on the walk! \ud83d\ude0e\u26f1\ufe0f<\/p>\n Difficulty rating: \u2b50\u2b50\u2b50 (A moderately difficult hike, which I\u2019d happily recommend even to beginners! The only real challenge is the climb itself; you\u2019ll need suitable footwear for the hike, but with that, completing the route shouldn\u2019t be a problem.)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
