You don\u2019t have to move heaven and earth on 14 February, yet you can still make Valentine\u2019s Day intimate and memorable, even if this year it falls on a perfectly ordinary Wednesday\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

So far, no one has really come up with anything more romantic than a well-planned walk that still leaves room for spontaneity \u2013 give or take 700,000 years. Consequently, places like Visegr\u00e1d are an inexhaustible source of this particular pastime. Even on 14 February, a date which, incidentally, falls well outside the peak season.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start right in the heart of the city, along the R\u00e9v utca\u2013F\u0151 utca axis. At the Rigoletto Patisserie<\/a> Over some delicious pastries and a fine cup of coffee, you can ponder where to go next: towards the forest and the great outdoors, or perhaps in the direction of the glorious past of bygone eras? One path leads to the right, whilst the other leads to the left, although it is true that in Visegr\u00e1d these two \u2013 nature and history \u2013 are inseparable.<\/p>\n

If you head uphill to the right past the church \u2013 that is, follow Nagy Lajos Street and then King Matthias Street \u2013 a walk of just over half an hour will take you straight into the woods, specifically to the \u00d6rd\u00f6gmalom Waterfall,\u00a0 where, after crossing the bridge, you\u2019ll discover one of the country\u2019s most famous trout restaurants, the \u00d6rd\u00f6gmalom Restaurant<\/a>. For couples coming to Visegr\u00e1d in search of a romantic, fairytale atmosphere, this is the place you\u2019ve been looking for. A warm welcome, fabulous cuisine, and an atmosphere that makes the walk up here, next to Telg\u00e1rthy Meadow, well worth it. Of course, you can also drive up, though that takes a lot of the magic out of the experience\u2026<\/p>\n

We mentioned another option: a historical stroll. If you stand in front of the church and head left along F\u0151 Street, you can explore the centre of Visegr\u00e1d. If you\u2019re already in the mood for a delicious pizza, the Don Vito Pizzeria<\/a> a Godfather<\/i> The film, *[Title]*, with its enchanting Coppola-esque atmosphere, warmly welcomes you all.
\nAfter leaving the cinema, they should soon arrive at the To the Palace House<\/a>, which lies next to the V4 Flag Park and the plane trees; then, turning onto the cobbled road, you\u2019ll soon arrive at the To the King Matthias Museum<\/a>. You can spend a very pleasant hour here at Matthias\u2019s former residence, the Royal Palace.
\nIf you fancy a bit more of a trip down memory lane, you can head up Salamontorony Street (it won\u2019t be easy to work out where) to the To Solomon's Tower<\/a>, which offers a magnificent view of the Danube and the Danube Bend. From here, head back down, then turn right and go down the G\u00f6rgey Steps, where you\u2019ll find the Renaissance Restaurant<\/a>, which could hardly be a more perfect finale to an authentic Valentine\u2019s Day in Visegr\u00e1d\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
