Essentially, the idea is that buses circulate all day long, calling at the city\u2019s key attractions, dropping off and picking up passengers at designated stops, so that as tourists, we have just one thing to do: to enjoy ourselves to the full in the town we\u2019re visiting, and to move on to the next exciting tourist spot whenever we feel like it. And to do this, there\u2019s no need to keep buying new tickets or devising complicated itineraries. With the hop-on hop-off service, everything you need to travel between locations is taken care of.<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtubeBlock youtubeBlockResponsive16by9\" id=\"youtube8979\">\n<iframe allowfullscreen=\"\" class=\"youtube-player\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UrVHTGWfgss?color=red&amp;controls=1&amp;hl=hu&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;modestbranding=1&amp;rel=0&amp;showinfo=0&amp;start=3\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ccm-custom-style-container ccm-custom-style-tartalom-8980\">\n<p>Until 2021, City Sightseeing\u2019s distinctive red double-decker buses were mainly seen in Budapest here in Hungary, however, by then the company had launched local routes in several other Hungarian cities of key importance to tourism, including Visegr\u00e1d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During the season, a service runs every 30 minutes, departing from the Mahart boat station (opposite the Renaissance Restaurant) and calling at stops including Mogyor\u00f3hegy, Salamon Tower, Ap\u00e1tk\u00fati Valley and the Citadel, with a total of 11 stops.<\/p>\n<p>If you buy a day ticket for the hop-on hop-off bus service, you can explore Visegr\u00e1d without having to get in a car or walk the often considerable distances between stops (the latter being a lovely little walk in the case of the Salamon Towerand the Royal Palace, it\u2019s a lovely little walk, but between the Citadel and Ap\u00e1tk\u00fati Valley, it\u2019s not exactly a short distance).
