On 13 December, the third Sunday of Advent, the Visegrád German Ethnic Minority Local Council will hold its traditional Advent craft fair at the Event Square.

The event, which begins at 16:00 with the symbolic opening of the gates, will feature a performance by the German Ethnic Choir from 17:00, followed by a festive concert by the Dunabogdány Swabian Wind Orchestra in the Catholic church, starting at 6.00 pm.

The traditional series of Advent events in Visegrád is made possible by the selfless – yet all the more joyful – efforts of members of enthusiastic local associations and institutions, and through their friendly collaboration.

(The first event was organised by the nursery, the second by the school, and all the town’s associations will gather to light the fourth candle on 20 December, from 4.00 pm.)

The organisers will be serving mulled wine, tea, grilled sausages, aspic and kürtőskalács.
