The Story in a Nutshell
Long live the King and long live the Queen! – chants the audience,
whilst the royal couple ride off on horseback!
A splendid jousting tournament is about to begin,
but the intrigue woven into it is dark.
Whilst the crowd is merrily enjoying their foamy beer,
Someone is going to attack the dwarf!
But the Reaper is after the priest too,
An invisible hand slips the blue pill into his mouth!
The attacked dwarf flies low,
On Duci’s finger was Beatrix of Aragon’s ring.
Who is behind this reckless hedonist?
Perhaps the old man whom an invisible hand had pushed into the cave.
Dr Vince Rendek arrives in Visegrád with his friends – winemakers and cardiologists from Szekszárd – for some light-hearted, beer-fuelled fun. However, a shadow of intrigue falls over the jousting tournament when the town’s prominent figures suffer a series of accidents, each more absurd than the last. The three friends, hot on the heels of the Grim Reaper, discover Visegrád’s rich historical past and present, as well as its iconic landmarks. Join them and defend the honour of the town and the Palace Games! I warmly recommend this to fans of black humour!
