On 6 December, starting at 4.00 pm, the Áprily Lajos Primary School, Primary School of the Arts and AMI SZKM will host the second weekend of Advent at the Visegrád Event Square.

Pupils, their teachers and the parents’ association are looking forward to welcoming visitors to a special craft fair as part of this year’s series of Advent events.

During the event, which runs from 16:00 to 18:00, there will be group singing, and you can take part in craft activities (you can make Christmas tree decorations, door decorations, or even a beautiful new tree topper for the top of your future Christmas tree), and a surprise guest will also be joining us, whose identity is currently shrouded in a mist of hoarfrost and ice crystals…

At the event, you can also purchase limited-edition tickets in decorative packaging for the Áprily Ball, which will take place on Saturday 24 January 2026; this is one of the town’s most important community events, held every year. All proceeds from the ball will go to the school, and this money will be used to fund equipment upgrades and school programmes in 2026.

The organisers will be serving tea, hot chocolate, mulled wine, sausages, frankfurters and cakes, so a festive atmosphere is definitely guaranteed!
