We endeavour to source our ingredients from local producers wherever possible, so that our guests can discover the flavours of this beautiful region. Whilst preserving the character of traditional Hungarian cuisine, our chef also strives to incorporate the flavours of the latest gastronomic trends. Renaissance cuisine was world-renowned in its day, and the dishes of Hungarian master chefs were famous far and wide. That is precisely why our philosophy is to draw on tradition, maintain a vibrant connection with the present, and keep pace with new demands.
The Renaissance Restaurant features five dining rooms of varying sizes and unique styles. On our terrace overlooking the Danube, you can enjoy the flavours of Visegrád whilst taking in the unrivalled views. Thanks to its distinctive interior design, our restaurant evokes the Renaissance style; to our great delight, our guests almost without exception express their appreciation – we often see photos taken here used as cover images on various social media platforms.
