Elsa has been directing adverts ever since she felt she had failed in the feature film industry. She works non-stop and doesn’t even realise how close she is to a breakdown. After suffering several severe migraine attacks, she decides to take a break on the island of Lanzarote with her friend Patricia, who is also in desperate need of a way out of her depression. The trip to this unusual volcanic island proves to be a major turning point in Elsa’s life and her relationships. The events surrounding Elsa run parallel to the story of Raúl, a screenwriter and film director, as life and fiction become intertwined. (port.hu)
