Four years have passed. At the end of *No Way Home*, Spider-Man chose solitude. Of his own accord, for the sake of the world, he erased himself from people’s memories, thereby giving up both his love and his good friend (Jacob Batalon). New York no longer knows his name, but simply enjoys the benefits of his work: after all, he continues to fight crime – and with nothing else to do, he has become a full-time Spider-Man. Yet he is needed more and more often. The pressure weighing upon him triggers strange changes in his body, and eventually escalates to the point where it threatens his very existence.
