An easy afternoon hike in the spirit of nature, tranquillity and music

Sometimes it’s not the number of kilometres covered that matters, but taking a moment to pause, slow down and reconnect with ourselves and nature.
On this special afternoon, we invite you to the shady forests of the Apátkúti Valley in Visegrád, where, on an easy walk suitable for everyone, we’ll explore the tranquillity of the stream banks, forest paths and the tranquillity of one of the most beautiful valleys in the Danube Bend.
Along the way, we won’t just be listening to the sounds of nature. During the walk, the unique melodies of Emese Virág’s angel harp will help us escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, tune into the world around us and live in the moment.
The programme concludes with an intimate handpan concert, where the harmonious blend of nature and music rounds off the experience.
This afternoon isn’t about a high-performance hike. There’s no need to rush, and no need to break any records. All you need is a pair of comfortable walking boots, an open mind, and the willingness to leave your everyday life behind for a few hours.

Distance: 8 km, with an elevation gain of 290 m.
Level of difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐ (An easy hike, with a few narrower sections where you’ll need proper walking boots to ensure you can walk safely. We still recommend this hike for beginners!)
This is a circular walk starting next to the Visegrád Botanical Garden; we’ll return here at the end of the walk, and the handpan concert will take place on the lawn. Please bring a blanket or foam mat suitable for relaxing on for the walk!
