As a result of our successful application to the Active and Ecotourism Development Centre, a unique skills-based/skill-building cycle track, which was officially handed over to enthusiastic users at a ceremony on 21 May.

The Bringapumpapálya is now an integral part of the Beatrix Sportliget concept envisaged by architect Marcell Ferencz, which has also been approved by the local council.
The construction work itself proceeded very quickly and smoothly; in fact, it took place during the early spring weeks of that year, and the work was completed by April.

The undulating, winding cycle track covers 400 square metres and can be used by several people at once; a sign informs visitors to the track about the recommended ways to use it and the rules.

As the course is designed to develop a sense of balance, it is primarily recommended for older children, although there is no upper age limit. What’s more, you can ride up it not only on a bike, but also on roller skates or a skateboard – a unique feature amongst similar tracks, most of which are strictly for bicycles only.

We are confident that the Visegrád Bike Pump Track will become a popular destination for local young people, and we are also confident that we have managed to create something of interest in our town from the perspective of cycle tourism, which is very active here during the season.
