Following the huge public success of the Hop On Hop Off service, Visegrád’s range of tourist attractions is now set to be expanded with a new public transport service. The Ecobus will launch on the second weekend of December.

To be precise, on 7 December – that is, this Saturday – we will be able to take our first journey on the Ecobus’s quiet, leisurely-paced routes through the natural treasures of Visegrád. The buses depart from the Palotaház and travel all the way up to the Kaán Spring.

The journey takes about 30 minutes, so the boat certainly doesn’t go very fast. This will be a delight for anyone who tries it, as it gives you the chance to admire the route in its entirety: in the first part, you can discover the historic side of Visegrád, followed by the gateway to the Pilis Mountains, passing by the unrivalled Ördögkatlan Waterfall, then taking in the Telgárthy Meadow and the trout-filled lakes, before finally reaching the Kaán Spring, which provides wonderful spring water all year round.

The buses depart on 7 December at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00. The return journey from the Kaán Spring is scheduled for 10.30, 11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 14.30 and 15.30.
