Just as the two families are beginning to come to terms with the shocking results of the DNA tests they gave their parents as gifts, it emerges that technical errors were made during the tests. Further shocking twists regarding their origins await the two couples, once again upsetting the family harmony. To make matters worse, a distant relative whom Frédéric didn’t even know existed turns up in his life.
