Anyone arriving by their own boat or dinghy can now feel free to moor at the Gondűző Pizzeria, located on the Visegrád side of the Kisoroszi ferry crossing.
The restaurant has, in fact, recently opened its own marina, much to the delight of recreational boaters on the Danube; anyone can moor there at very reasonable rates, whilst for the restaurant’s guests arriving by boat, this service is completely free of charge.
The restaurant’s owners hope that this will also help, in some small way, to revive Visegrád’s water-based activities, which have seen better days.
In recent years, incidentally, the situation in this regard has been steadily improving throughout the Danube Bend, and although the left bank of the Danube still boasts a much more vibrant water sports scene, we too are gradually able to offer more and more here on the right bank, at least in the Visegrád area.
