Momo, the little orphan girl with curly red hair, easily won the hearts of the locals with her resourcefulness and quick wits. She always has a kind word for everyone and selflessly helps others to solve their problems. Soon, strangers dressed in grey appear in the town, urging people to „save time”. The unsuspecting residents lose all their joy and their human connections, and, amongst other things, they no longer have time for Momo either. The little girl realises that the Time Savers are in fact stealing people’s precious moments, so with the help of Master Hora, the guardian of time, and a special tortoise called Cassiopeia, she stands up to the thieves.
