Just as flowers bloom, so too do those service providers whose programmes depend on good weather emerge from their winter slumber. These include, amongst others, the Canopy Course at the top of Visegrád, and the SUP universe brought to life by outdoor.maffia, a firm favourite in recent years…
Canopy Fun Extreme and Adventure Park, run by Botond Járási, is Hungary’s first canopy course, offering a panoramic view of the Danube Bend from above that can truly only be experienced by setting off along this unique rope course stretching above the trees.
The one-hour walk can be undertaken in groups of 4–10 people, accompanied, of course, by a guide.
The two-storey adventure park, situated at the entrance, features 40 play elements and welcomes visitors of all ages, promising a comprehensive programme in its own right. However, we wouldn’t advise anyone in the adrenaline-junkie camp to miss out on the unforgettable experience of the canopy tour. In fact, spend a whole day up there!
Thanks to the outdoor.maffia team, you can now take part in guided SUP tours in Visegrád, and you won’t have to wait long for the season to start, as the SUP season begins on 1 May.
Much like canopy walks, SUP tours open up new perspectives; just as we can admire the Danube Bend from a unique vantage point – one that’s otherwise inaccessible – from the trail stretching above the trees, it is a special experience to stand on a board on the water and admire the Börzsöny range opposite and the Pilis range towering beside us.
During the Visegrád SUP tours, available between 1 May and 20 September, you can spend 2–3 hours enjoying this experience on the Danube; apart from being able to swim, there are no other skill requirements for taking part. As well as creating unforgettable memories, it’s almost certain that if this is your first time, it certainly won’t be your last.
