You may not have realised it, but Visegrád is home to, amongst other things, a craft brewery, a winery and even an authentic paper-making workshop. There’s so much to see in this little place that simply marvelling at it all is an experience in itself, let alone immersing yourself in it!

The Courtyard of Crafts houses a blacksmith’s workshop, a pottery workshop and a folk beadwork workshop. If you’re visiting for the jousting tournaments during the colder months – which are also hosted at the Palace House at this time of year – you’ll have the chance to explore these wonderful little spots.

In our beautiful handmade paper workshop, paper is made just as it was many, many centuries ago. It’s like a living museum, where master craftsmen create paper objects using time-honoured techniques.

Visegrád Beer draws inspiration from the world of craft beers to create its superbly crafted speciality beers. As for Anda Winery, it has for years featured on the lists of those who keep track of the premium wines of the Danube Bend and are keen to look beyond the well-known wine regions.
