Visegrád is beautiful in every season, as anyone who loves Visegrád knows only too well. We try to showcase this beauty to you from time to time through our short films, the latest of which pays tribute to the wonder of our snow-covered town.

It is true that summer is our peak season too, the highlight of which is the Visegrád International Palace Games, but our legendary town has something special in store in every season. It is, however, a rare occurrence – certainly over the past decade – for winter to be so kind to us, transforming our town into a veritable little skiing paradise.

This year we were able to enjoy this treat for weeks on end, and as well as skiing and snowboarding, as well as winter bobsleighing, we were also able to go ice-skating, enjoy some great tobogganing and go on excursions in the snow-covered Pilis Mountains, and we couldn’t miss out on the old-fashioned, proper winters either – the horse-drawn sleigh rides that evoke memories of our great-grandfathers…
